WATTON, Arthur Steward, Age 72 of Aylesford, past away peacefully with his family by his side at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born on November 6, 1942 he was the son of the late Fred and Myrtle (Whynot) Watton. Surviving are his children David (Tanja) Watton and Laura (Colin) Watton; brothers Arnold and Ernie; five grandchildren Nick, AJ, Vanessa, Dustin, and Jesse; one great-grandchild Ezra-May; and his companion and dancing partner Shelia Wiles. Predeceased by his siblings Gordon, Donnie, and Pauline. Arthur was a member of the Berwick Legion Branch #69, and will be remembered for his love of dancing and playing darts. He was a hard worker, who enjoyed time with his family, working in the woods, and his love of gardening. Donations in Arthur’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army, Canadian Red Cross or The Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial St., Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
