Obituary of Gerald Wayne McInnis

Please share a memory of Gerald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
McINNIS, Gerald Wayne, Age 73 of Cambridge passed away suddenly at Blomidon Court, Greenwich on Friday April 17, 2015. Born on May 28, 1941 he was a son of the late Malcolm and Dorothy (Davison) McInnis. Gerald is survived by son Gerald (Heidi) Black Rock; brother Randy (Kentville); and sister, Joyce (David) Carnell (Kentville). Predeceased by brother Dale. Gerald lived most of his life in Cambridge and worked as an Electrician, and was involved in various electrical projects around the Province. In Gerald’s later years he continued with smaller electrical jobs, and small engine repairs, consequently, he became a “go-to-guy” for many friends and acquaintances. He enjoyed mechanical things, sometimes taking on seemingly impossible repairs or restoration tasks; he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at the Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street, with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the Service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home (Wolfville Funeral Chapel) (902) 542-4656.
