HORNER, Jean Louise (Gidney), Sandy Cove passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015 with her family by her side. Born on June 8, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Voilet (Jenson) Gidney. Jean leaves behind her son Frederick Roy Horner; daughter Carla Jean (Larramore); brother Earl Gidney; grandchildren Carol Larramore, Vicki Gidney, Donna Wright, Justin Horner, Josh Horner, Tamara Horner, Annette Vantassell; great-grandchildren Sunmer and Dillin Larramore, Ethan Gidney Aaliyiah, Lyndi, Leighton Horner, Tyler Taylor, Tristan Wright, Katie Robicheau, and Logan Robicheau. Jean was predeceased by husband Frederick; daughter Patsy; brothers Seymore and Roy; sisters Claira and Hazel. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 2:00pm at 47 Bay Road, Sandy Cove. Private family burial in East Ferry following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean's name to the local food bank.
