Obituary of Charles Russell

Life Legacy RUSSELL, Charles (Ted), 79 of New Ross passed away peacefully at the Valley Regional Hospital on May 6, 2015. He was the son of the late Maurice and Rhona (Wentzell). He was predeceased by wife Bertha Reeves. Ted is survived by Diane (Mike), Sackville; Arthur (Tammy), Upper Musquodoboit; sisters Myrna (Ronnie); Dorothy Reeves and Sylvia Turner; grandchildren Brandon (mother – Donna Watson), Matthew, step-grandchildren Holly, Michael (Wrixon); great-grandchilden Brionna, Addy, Haley and Aleah. Ted loved his blue grass festivals, and enjoyed his fishing and trees. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Medical A Unit at the Valley Regional Hospital for taking care of our dad. Cremation has taken place. A Visitation on Saturday, May 9, 7pm – 9pm in the New Ross Funeral Chapel with a Memorial Service on Monday, May 11, at 1pm in the Christ Anglican Church, New Ross with Rev. Judi officiating. Interment at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Ted may be made to the New Ross Fire Department or to the Christ Anglican Church, New Ross.
