Obituary of Brian Walter Fancy

FANCY, Brian W. - 64, of Liverpool, NS, passed away peacefully at Queens General Hospital on Saturday, May 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving daughters. Born in North Brookfield, Queens County, he was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Lucy (Weagle) Fancy; his wife Carolyn (Oickle); brothers Ronald (Barbara); Roger and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Brian was a transport truck driver, a very talented folk artist, carpenter and contractor. Brian always put others ahead of himself and was very generous to anyone who needed his help. He was a devoted dog lover and missed his four-legged children that have provided him with companionship over his lifetime. He is survived and deeply missed by his children: Patricia (Philip Jollimore) of Liverpool, and Tammy (Trevor Adams) of Prospect; brothers Murray (Connie) of Elmsdale and Larry (Joanne) of Milton. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels (Coldbrook) (902) 679-2822. As per Brian’s request, there will be no service and memorial donations may be made to Shaid Tree in Bridgewater.
