Obituary of Peter LeRoy Nejrup

NEJRUP, Peter LeRoy, 78 of Wilmot passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on May 11, 2015. Born on January 2, 1937 Peter was a son of the late Neils Richard (Dick) Nejrup and Vera May (Lutz) of Aylesford. Survived by his wife of 57 years Phyllis (Lutz); sons Richard (Valerie Delorey), Peter (Sherryl); daughters Nicoline (Charles) Baker, Carolyn Connors (Jason Hudson), Robin (Chris Styles); thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Richard, great-granddaughter Starr and great-grandson Connor. Peter loved and adored his wife Phyllis, his children, grand and great-grandchildren. He loved animals, wildbirds, vegetable and flower gardens; his second love in life was being a Truck Driver; for 20 years he worked for TRA Foods of Middleton; 17 years at H. Cogswells and Sons doing roofing; and worked for Powells in the USA, prior to him moving back home to Nova Scotia in 1974. As per requested cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 7p.m. – 9p.m. in the Berwick Funeral Chapel with a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 16, at 2p.m. in the Morristown Baptist Church, Rev. Chad Clements officiating. Interment to follow at the Morristown Cemetery. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Morristown Baptist Church.
