Life Legacy
Our precious Don George Graves was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 21, 2015. Devoted and born to the late George Graves and Beatrice Blenkhorn. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Beatrice Bowlby and sister Joan Burgess. Survived by sister Pearl Fraser; brother Paul Graves, and many nephews and nieces that Don dearly loved. Don was a faithful and humble man, full of integrity and honor, deeply caring for his beloved family and friends. He saw good in everyone and was a great protector of the innocent and vulnerable. Don blessed his community and many others with his Godly gift of music and song. He spent his retirement years volunteering with his music and Bob Keddy at his body shop. Don held many positions over the years farming, carpentry, body work, and 23 years as bus driver Charlie for Annapolis Valley District School Board, which was a time of great joy for him. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Port Williams, Reverend Virginia E. DeAdder officiating. Donations in Dons memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels (Coldbrook) 902-679-2822.
