DAVENPORT, Marilyn Ann 75, Upper Burlington, Hants County passed away at home in the arms of many loving family members on June 8, 2015. Marilyn (Sis) gracefully took the hands of her grandsons Ryan and Jean Baptiste as they welcomed her back home to be with them and to be reunited with loved ones who were awaiting her arrival in Heaven. She was independent, strong willed and had a gorgeous soul; she lived everyday for her family that she loved dearly. Born on April 3, 1940, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Alfred & Irene (Bowman) Snow. She is survived by her husband, Dave, her daily "furry companion" Buddy; daughter Jannie (Charlie) Lahey, Brooklyn, NS and son David, Brooks, ALB; sisters, Lillian (Edward) Vieth, Halifax, NS; Gloria Saulnier, Halifax, NS; Heather (Ben) Tarrant, Beaver Bank, NS; Donna Snow (John Peet) Windsor, NS; Helen "Pinky" (Jadey) Galley, Three Mile Plains, NS; brothers; Alfred (Dorothy) Snow, Halifax, NS; Henry Snow (Brenda Zinck) East Dover, NS; John Snow (Deena Leblanc) Halifax, NS; Paul (Madonna) Snow, Halifax, NS; granddaughters, Tiffany Lahey (Lucas Wilson) Tarilyn Lahey and Angelique Davenport; grandsons; Matthew Lahey, Mathuren Davenport and great grandson Carter Wilson; also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by sisters Sandra (Walter) Forrest, Alfreda Kavanaugh; brother Bruce Snow and grandsons Ryan Lahey and Jean Baptiste Davenport. We know this isn't goodbye, your inspiration and love will continue to guide us forever in our hearts. The family would like to extend special thanks to Amber Philips and Caroline McManus . As per her request cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at the Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 7:00p.m. with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be at a later date. Donations in Marilyn's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
