ROSSÉ, MARY EDNA, 92, of Coldbrook, Nova Scotia passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Edna was born in Halifax, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (McNeil) Sampson. Edna retired from the City of Dartmouth and moved with her husband Gaston to Coldbrook in 1982. She was active in the community and won " Volunteer Of The Year Award" for her work with the Red Cross. She walked softly on this earth and had respect for God and her fellow man. Edna maintained her independence and lived in her own home until her passing. She is survived by sons Raymond (Carol) Dartmouth, Glen
(Judy) Winnipeg, granddaughter Colette Rossé (Tim), Bay Roberts, Nfld., brother-in-law Henry Rossé of Ladysmith, B.C., sister-in-law Marg Rossé, Rossland, B.C. and niece Shirley Leblanc, Halifax. Edna was predeceased by her husband Gaston; sister Katherine "Dolly" Smart and sister Bertha Annie Marriott. Funeral Mass will be held 10am Friday, June 26 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville, Rev. Father MacPherson officiating. Reception to follow in church hall. We would like to thank the medical professionals at the Dartmouth General and Annapolis Valley Regional Hospital, in particular Dr. Nunn, for their care and assistance. Family burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
