BLAIKIE Catherine Frances, 80 of Greenwood passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years Ronald Leslie Blaikie, three children Debbie Defalco, Ronald (Mary) Blaikie and Larry (Anita) Blaikie. Six grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan, Jessica, Sasha, Jason, Kyle and five great grandchildren Natasha, Dawson, Aaliyah, Noelle and Elijah. Catherine spent her childhood in Middle Musquodoboit but met and was courted by Ronald (Leslie) Blaikie in Truro, NS where she worked for the Truro Daily News. Together they travelled with the military and shared many adventures with the children until settling in Kingston/Greenwood. Catherine found herself leaving the nest and working with OH Armstrong for 18 years until retiring to travel some more and spending winters in Florida.
