Obituary of Carmen Vaughan O'Dell

O'DELL, Carmen Vaughan – 58, Hantsport - With deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Carmen at home with his wife Susan and trusted four-legged friend Ranger by his side. Carmen was born on January 22, 1957 and was the son of the late Corey and Ruby (Taylor) O'Dell. Surviving is his wife Susan (Myles); brother Corey, Centreville; sisters Heather, First South; and Lorraine, Hebbville. Predeceased by first wife Lydia; sister-in-law Mary O'Dell and his four-legged friend Schooner. Carmen was a 15 year member of the Hantsport Fire Department. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver Brenda Palmeter and Nurse Practitioner Dawn Lowe for their support and compassion. As per requested cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service followed by a reception will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 2:00p.m. at the Hantsport Fire Hall, Rev. Terry Coldwell officiating. A private family interment will be held in the Riverbank Cemetery. Donations in memory of Carmen may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Hantsport Fire Department.
