ZWICKER, Frances Doris, 86, Middleton, passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on August 29, 2015. Born on January 7, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Myrtle (Harpell) Zinck. Frances spent her early working career at Moirs Chocolate Factory in Halifax; a Clerk at Zellers and later in years she moved to the Valley with her husband Frederick and started employment at Websters Strawberry Farms, Cambridge. Her faith in God was unshakeable supporting her Church unconditionally. A lover of music, nature and believed in hugging a tree a day. In Frances younger years she was a singer in a band and cut a record in Halifax with her brother, sister and was called the Zinck Family Trio. As a mom she was there for her family throughout her life with her continuous support and ever loving guidance. Surviving is son Frederick (Cambridge), daughter Constance (Daniel) Kelly (Cambridge); grandchildren Nicole, Daniel, Parker and great-grandchildren Landon and Owen. She was predeceased by husband Frederick, brothers, Sonny and Charles and sister Beulah Banfield. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6-8p.m. at the Berwick Funeral Chapel, Berwick; a Funeral Service will be held at the Cambridge United Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 2, at 11a.m., Pastor Darrell Dykens officiating. Interment at the Cambridge United Baptist Church Cemetery. Reception to follow in Church Hall. Donations in Frances memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
