ROSE, Clara Chickie Janette Age 73, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2015 at the QE2 Health Science Centre VG Site after her persistent fight to beat Lymphoma and fulfill her dreams to see the sunsets and dance on the beach in Costa Rica. Born in Mahone Bay, she was the daughter of the late St. Clair and Idella (Rafuse) Hiltz. Chickie is survived by her son Todd and special son Paul, special sister Wendy Swinemar Wilkins and nephew Adam, and her grand-dogs Gracie and Birdie. Chickie is predeceased by her husband Bryon Reginald Rose and her dogs Lexus, Pattie, Thunder, and Trinity. Chickie was a mother to many and a friend to all. Her high spirits for life and gentle ways will be missed but will live long as we remember to bide by her advice to live, love, and laugh. Look into the evening sunset with an open heart and gazing eyes and you will see Chickie smiling back at you through the wonderful memories in your heart. Fly away my little Chickadee, fly away and be free! Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
