Leck, Margaret Carrie - 92, Windsor and Shubenacadie died February 12, 2005. Born in Elmsvale, Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Harris and Irene (Gaston) Gould. She was a teacher for 28 years. She was also a Sunday School teacher at the Shubenacadie United Church; a life member of the UCW and church secretary. She volunteered in the community with the Canadian Red Cross. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, home and school and Seniors Citizens Club. She is survived by daughter Grace (John), Kingston, Ontario; son, Ralph, Falmouth; sister, Bessie Gould, Halifax, sister- in-law, Shirley Gould, Elmsvale; step-son, Glen (Betty), Brookfield, step- daughter-in-law Glenys, East Noel, 9 grandchildren, step-grandchildren; 15 great step-grandchildren; 5 nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman; sister, Alice, brother, Roy, brother-in-law, Ivan; step-son, Verne, twin grandsons and a nephew. No visitation or service, a public burial will take place at a later date in Gay's River United Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the CNIB only by request.
