JESSOP, Chipman (Chip) Frederick - Stark Road, Newport Station passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Chip was born in Wolfville to Frederick "Bud" and Helen (Dempsey) Jessop on November 8, 1952. He is survived by daughter, Laura-Lee Jessop (Shawn Comeau); grandchildren, Craig, Cole Comeau of Mt Uniacke; daughter, Karen Jessop; grandchildren, Karden Jessop, Dante Caldwell of Newport Station; son, Evan (Kandace O’Leary); grandchildren, Jaci, Molly Jessop of Dartmouth; step-son, Scott Bower (Ashley Cromwell); step-grandchild, Zoe Cromwell of Newport Station; step-daughter, Holly Bower (Shawn O’Leary) of Falmouth; brothers, Gregory Jessop (Brenda Hatchard) of Windsor; Kevin Jessop (Ruth Angevine) of Ellershouse; Mark Jessop of Wolfville; sister, Carmella (Chris) Tsaros of Calgary; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Chip enjoyed fishing, hunting, scenic drives and time spent with his family. He worked for the Annapolis Valley School Board. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 4:00p.m. at the Oakhill Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Ellershouse Community Hall. Donations in memory of Chip may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
