Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mosher, George Bedford – it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George on December 11, 2015 at the Wolfville Elms at the young age of 91 years. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Paul and Jean (Chase) Mosher. George was also predeceased by his wife Joyce Alma (Leslie), brother Paul and son Thomas. George leaves behind his sons; Paul (Kathryn) Halls Harbour and Richard (Frances) Upper Tantallon, along with his daughter in law Valerie Mosher, grandchildren; Andrea (Matthew) Harrington, Gregory Mosher and Leslie Mosher and as well as great grandson Xavier Harrington. After losing his brother Paul in the early days of the war George joined and served with the West Nova Regiment. Upon his return to Halifax he graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He retired in 1980 after a successful career with Revenue Canada as a Tax Auditor. George and Joyce spent their retirement years at Halls Harbour before moving to the Wolfville Elms where they were fortunate enough to receive excellent care by the Elms staff. George was a very modest man who was very proud of his three sons. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels. A service will be held at the Wolfville Funeral Chapel 568 Main Street Wolfville, Saturday December 19th at 11:00 am. Family interment to follow at the Willowbank Cemetery. Family Flowers only.
