Ronald Arleigh Lutz of Rockland, Kings County, passed away on January 13, 2016 at Heart of the Valley Home in Middleton. Ronnie was born December 3, 1936 to Azie and Florence (Palmer) Lutz and lived most of his life on the home farm. Ronnie loved his farm life, tending cattle and caring for the orchard. He was one of sixteen children and always enjoyed visits from his siblings and family. He had a special friendship with his brother Hardy, and together they took care of the home place while sharing a few laughs and teasing each other. For the last eight years, Ronnie lived at Tibbetts Home for Special Care in Wilmot. He settled in easily and truly enjoyed his Tibbets home. Ronnie is survived by his brothers: Hardy (Jessie), South Berwick and Robert (Maureen), Welsford, sisters: Helen (Robert), Morristown Marie (Maurice) Millville, Janice (Robert) South Berwick, Carolyn (Bill) Orleans ONT., and Marina (Charles) Salisbury NB. Besides his parents, Ronnie is predeceased by his brothers: Carleton and Whitney, sisters; Bessie Stoddard, Bertha Keddy, Carrie Carver, Doris Palmer, Margaret Palmer and Rose Boyd. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 16, at 2:00 pm at Berwick Funeral Chapel, Rev Leon Langille officiating. Donations in Ronnie’s memory may be made to Tibbetts Home for Special Care – Activity Fund. A special thank you to Tibbetts and their staff for the excellent care he received there.
