CLARKE, Mary Alberta (nee Emmerson), 89, of Bridgetown, passed away Tuesday, January 12th, 2016, at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, NS. Born in Toronto, Canada, she graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and went on to become a well-known evangelist, remembered for her powerful preaching and her beautiful soprano voice. She traveled internationally until she married and began ministering with her husband, Cyril.
Mary was a loving wife and a gentle and devoted mother. Predeceased by her husband of 53 years and her granddaughter Leah, she is survived by her sister Shirley, her children Cynthia, David, Linda, Philip and Stanley Elliot, whom she loved as a son. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Matthew, Philip, Ben, Jacob, Andrew, Anna, Rebeccah, John and Parker and her great-grandchildren, Katie, Arianna, Caleigh, Alex, William and Briana.
