Obituary of Sandra Jane Bezanson-McGrath

Sandra Jane Bezanson-McGrath Sandra passed away unexpectedly February 10, 2016 after heart surgery at the Queen Elizabeth 11 Health Sciences Center in Halifax. Born in Berwick in 1948 she was the daughter of the late Bob and Minnie Redden. She is survived by her son Jeff Bezanson, daughter Karla Smith and grandchildren Joel and Jennifer Smith and Shayla Brydon. She is also survived by siblings Judy (Al) Hale, Sheila (Mike) Munday and Bruce (Sybil) Redden along with many close extended family members. Sandra was lucky enough to find love twice in her life-first with the late Ted Bezanson and then with the late Daniel J McGrath, QC. She had many happy years with both. Sandra was a kind and generous person who helped others in many ways. She greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family, scrapbooking, reading, travelling and camping in her trailer with Jeff and Shayla. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels. Donations may be made in Sandra’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Berwick Funeral Chapel (192 Commercial Street Berwick) Thursday February 18th, from 2:00 -4:00 pm.
