Julia Teresa Mckie (O 'Toole) 79, died peacefully on Feb 13th, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was loved by all who met her. Teresa was born on December 17th, 1936 in Ireland to the late Elizabeth and Jeffrey O'Toole. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ian, sister Mary B, brothers Michael, John and Jeffrey. Teresa met her soul mate Ian and later married and had three children Joseph, Stuart (Lindsey) and Michele (Paul). She worked as a midwife for a number of years in Liverpool. They later moved to Ireland where Teresa worked as a registered nurse. A number of years later they moved to Canada. Teresa then took time to be at home with her children and looked after many others' as well. She became known to many as "Kie-Kie". Her love for children drew her to Cambridge school where she worked as an educational assistant & met many wonderful people who became very close to her. She was a big part of her community and church, loved meeting people and managed to make everyone she met smile. She just had that special way about her. Teresa loved to talk about her kids and grandkids she so adored: Ian, Bronwen, Duncan, Taylor, Zachary and Luke. They so sadly will miss their "Nanny", however those memories they shared will remain in their hearts forever.
