Obituary of Robert Eugene Hebb
Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert (Bob) Eugene Hebb, Age 64 of Berwick, Nova Scotia passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
It is with sad hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved Robert. Bob enjoyed a life of many blessings with Cheryll, his devoted wife of 43 years. They shared a lifetime of wonderful memories with their close-knit family and many friends. His family meant so much to him, particularly his grandchildren. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and found peace in nature. He had a love for animals and had a very special bond with his canine companion Dolly who never left his side. His sense of humour and gentle, kind manner made him a man loved by many. He was employed by Kent Building Supplies in New Minas for over 15 years where he considered the staff to be an extension of his family. He was a former member of the Lake Paul & Lake George Fire Department before moving to Berwick and was a proud member of the Kings County ATV Club.
Bob is survived by his wife Cheryll (Hawkins), Berwick; his children Jeanette Joudrey, Berwick; Gordon (Nicole) Hebb, Halifax; grandchildren Cassidy Joudrey, Berwick; Marshall and Carter Hebb, Halifax; siblings Rodney (Joanne) Hebb, Lake Paul; Sandra Brown, Amherst; Darlene (David) George, Lawrencetown and nine nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his father Howard and grandparents Dublois (George) & Lila (Betty) Hebb.
Although he may be gone from this world we will never forget the impact he has had on all of our lives. The family wishes to thank all of our family and friends for their love and support during this very difficult time.
