Dear Dakin Family,
It was with great sadness that I just learned today of this terrible news, while staying over here in Digby. My sincere condolences to the whole Family.
It was many, many years ago now, but I will always recall well, and fondly, being hosted by Ted and Family so warmly and generously on my first summer trip to Digby, and the area.
Ted ("Mr. Dakin") most certainly left a lasting impression on those who met him, even briefly and long ago, with his kindness and wry sense of humour.
