***** Celebration of life rescheduled: A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at The Forties Community Center on Wednesday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm. AULENBACK, Ruth Elizabeth (Whitman/Caldwell) on January 27th became Mrs. Paul Aulenback, 68 of The Forties, passed away with her husband and sister-in-law Debby by her side, in the Valley Regional Hospital on Wednesday March 16th, 2016. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Robert and Jennie Caldwell (Martin), sisters, Muriel Morrison and Minnie Tupper, father-in-law Paul E. Aulenback and sister-in-law Beverly Caldwell. Ruth had a very positive spirit and was very dedicated to volunteering at the Suppers, Chinese Auctions, Variety Shows and events at The Forties Community Center. She loved nature, flower gardening and seeing to her turtle that would come to the shore every season for well over 10 years to get the wieners Ruth would put out for him. Ruth loved country music and whenever she could she would go out to her music jams where she would share her voice and make new friends. Just this past year she completed her CD that she felt blessed to do. This was the spring that Ruth would get to see the tulips planted in her husband’s garden for the first time. While he loves vegetable gardens and she loved flower gardens she was thrilled when he planted her tulips in the four corners of his vegetable garden. We are sure she will be looking down on them this year with pride. Another place of joy for Ruth was when she could spend time with the loving company of little Autumn and Raina. Ruth is survived by her newlywed husband Paul Aulenback, sons Todd (Lynn) Whitman, Alberta and Trevor (Natasha) Whitman, Sackville, grandchildren; Jayden, Autumn and Zoe Whitman, Haley and Autumn, great granddaughter Alisha, brothers; Reginald Bridgewater Mass, Robert “Bev” (Elaine) Centerville, Gordon (Debby), Timberlea, Owen, Halifax and Floyd (Susan) Mount Uniacke, brother-in-law’s; William “Bill” Tupper, Annapolis Valley and Mitchell Morrison, Calf.
