Like so many others, my husband, Angus, and I were saddened to learn of Helen's death. She was a very close friend of my Mother, Melba Sarty, and her death has left an empty space in Mom's heart. Helen was like a member of our Family and, over the years, she has participated in many of our Family Celebrations. Indeed, she had a zest for living and when she came toward the end of her life and was no longer able to do the many activities she always enjoyed life lost its lustre for her. My Mother and her friend, Colette, went to visit Helen the afternoon before she passed away. I'm so glad they were able to be together that one last time. Those who knew Helen will never forget her - she was just one of those people. To you, the members of her Family, we offer our most sincere sympathy. May the loving support of your family and friends be a constant source of comfort and encouragement to you in the coming weeks and months as you begin to learn to live your lives without Helen.
