I was shocked to learn today that we lost one of my favorite clients. I work at the animal hospital where Dale brought his little buddy Caper. We always had such great conversations. He always shared stories with me and told me lots about his new girlfriend (he was so smitten)! I really enjoyed his visits. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Marlene, Winston and Family:
Please know that others are sending prayers of love and comfort to you and your family as you grieve the passing of your wonderful father/father-in-law's departure from this life. Dale was a gentleman and well loved. My father always spoke very highly of him, knowing him quite well from when they both lived in Granville Ferry. You can be very proud that he was your Dad. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dale was our neighbour and my boyhood friend when we moved to the Ferry in 1949. Softball and fishing on the bridge in Summer and Hockey at the Frog Pond in Winter (he had a wicked slapshot!) were regular activities!
It was always a welcome treat to be invited to join Dale at his parents' cabin at Sandy Bottom and go fishing for the Big One!
I was so sorry to learn of Dale's health problem and passing from Austin. We will be making a donation to 'Fidelis House' in Kentville in Dale's memory. Fidelis House is a rest stop for visitors at the Kentville Hospital and was founded by a former ARA Classmate, the late Shirley Cameron.
My Sincere Sympathy to all family members.

Wishing condolences to Marlene & Family on the passing of your Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather. I didn't know Dale personally but he was always a very friendly man whenever I saw him and spoke. It's been years since I've seen you but I haven't forgotten you from when we worked in Kentville & carpooled together. May the blessings of our Heavenly Father be with you and your family at this very difficult time.

Our sincere condolences to Dales' family. Dale was a wonderful, kind, gentle and friendly man and neighbour of ours in Parkers Cove. Dale loved to talk, never saying an unkind word about anyone. He was very proud of his family, he would always show us pictures of them and elaborate on their successes.
Dale loved his dogs, good old Duke and loveable Caper, he took them everywhere he traveled.
Dale was always giving us a helping hand when needed, ie. pulling back an uprooted lilac tree that toppled over in the winds. He saved it for us. We will always have fond memories of Dale and his late wife Doris.
They were beautiful, warm and kind souls on earth and now they will be together in God's heaven.
