William (Bill) Allen Forsythe, 64, of Wolfville Ns., Passed away at home following a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May,15, 2016 with family at his side.
Bill is survived by wife Carolyn (Henderson) Forsythe, daughter Kim (Dell Walsh), grandson Damien Forsythe -Scott (Centreville), Son Robin (Carrie), grandchildren Leah, Liam, Lexis, Lucas (Bishopville), sister Sheila (Allan) King (New Minas), mother in law Ruby (Miles) Henderson (Wolfville), brother in law Miles Henderson (Hantsport).
Bill was predeceased by infant daughter Billie-Joe Dawn, infant grandson Devon Allan Forsythe-Scott, father Clifford Forsythe, mother Marie (Rathbone) Forsythe, brother Earl Forsythe, father in law Donald Henderson.
Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Dr. C. B Lumsden Brand 74, Wolfville. He was employed at Fundy Electric as an electrician, estimator for 25 years. He was an avid outdoors-men enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and riding his Harley. Bill was devoted to his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656). A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Wolfville Funeral Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 74, Valley Hospice Foundation, or VON.
