It is with saddened hearts that we announce that Robert Francis Marshall, 76, of Digby Nova Scotia, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at their summer home on Porter's Lake. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Luella Hicks, three daughters and one son, Dorothy Stevenson and Brenda Lombard of Digby, Chantelle Marshall of Elmsdale, and Trevor Marshall of Victoria BC , four grandchildren Marie Letemplier and Crystal Rowe, Jasmine and Jacob Marshall as well as his many loving great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Bob was born in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia and lived most of his life in Clementsport and Digby. He was the son of Viola Marshall and lived with his grandparents, Edward and Mary Ann Marshall. He was educated in the Bridgetown school system. Bob was family man who enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and his beloved dogs, Rascal and Jessie. He was proud to have worked as a fire fighter for 28 years in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and in his spare time enjoyed fishing, working on his tractor and boat. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Coldbrook Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Memorial service will be held at the Trinity Anglican Church in Digby, NS on Thursday, June 16 at 2:00 PM with interment at the South Range Cemetery in South Range, Nova Scotia. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
