Richard Lee Coldwell, 78 of Newtonville, passed away June 12, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Hants Border, he was the son of Gordon and Isabelle (Coffin) Coldwell.
He is survived by his wife Darlene (Phillips), stepson Derek (Gina), grandson Andrew, granddaughter Carissa and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, sisters Gladys (Green), Phyllis (Goddard), Mabel, Donalda (Westcott), Mary (McMahon) and brother Edwin.
Dick worked in many places as a welder or a machinist, as well as he loved working on cruise ships and travelling around the world.
Most importantly, Dick always had a big heart full of love for his family and willing to lend a helping hand to all.
Darlene and family would like to thank all who have helped in Dick's care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Coldbrook Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Cremation has already taken place and a Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
