Josephine Marion "Josie" DeWolfe, 56, of Halifax passed away on June 23, 2016 in the QEII Health Science Centre, VG Site in Halifax. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Leo and Josephine (Sweeney) Dewolfe.
Josie always enjoyed the yard sales, the flea markets and knitting baby blankets. Most of all she loved was playing with grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters; Angela DeWolfe (Matthew McNeil) and Alicia DeWolfe, sisters; Mearie (Roddy) Boudreau, L'Ardoise, Cape Breton, Peggy (Kevin) Marriott, Marge (Dennis) LeBlanc, brothers; Earl DeWolfe, Kenneth (Linda) Dewolfe, grandchildren; Cassandra DeWolfe, Ayla DeWolfe, Jacob McNeil, Jackson McNeil, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers; David and Leo, sister Dorothy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Spryfield Legion, 7 Sussex St.. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00 am in the St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Spryfield.
