Ena Thersa Whiston, 93, of Coldbrook went to be with her lord on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Born August 2nd, 1922 in Poona, India to Arthur and Mildred (Lunelle) Pring. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who made her home in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1944, after meeting her husband overseas during WWII. She met and married her beloved husband John, in 1942 in England. She is the last surviving member of her family. She leaves to mourn her son, who she loved from the moment she held him in her arms, Daniel (Robin), her three grandchildren, Robert, Katie (Hal) and Kyle. Three great grandchildren, Paige, Elliot and Elise. Her niece Sandra (Cecil), Maddy and Greg Keddy. Her two sister-in-laws, Millie Whiston of White Rock and Sadie Kane of Tumbridge Wells, England. Also several nieces and nephews, both in Canada and England. She was predeceased by her beloved husband (her Whizz) John, her father and mother and her brother Bob Pring. Don't grieve for me as I'm with My Whizz, my parents and my brother Bob who I missed and loved so dearly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial Street Berwick (902-538-9900). A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Berwick Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the the proposed Palliative Care Wing at Valley Regional Hospital or The Kings County SPCA.
