Elizabeth Gloria Louise BUTLER (WOODWORTH), age 86, of Kentville, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2016 in the Orchard Court seniors' home. Born on March 29, 1930 in Bedford, she was the daughter of James Willis Woodworth and Mabel Blanche Hirtle.
"Betty" was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1954. She will be greatly missed, and is survived by her daughters, Faye (Wayne) Schofield; Leslie (Charles) Crandall; and sons David (Gloria); Richard (Joyce); and John (Denise). She had seventeen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 77 Beaverbank Road, Lower Sackville on July 1, 2016 at 2 p.m., and a reception to follow. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Centreville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
