Calvin Arthur Schofield, 58, of Long Beach Road, Glenmont, NS. It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Calvin in the Valley Regional Hospital. He was the son of Verna (Tupper) Schofield of Shannex, Kentville and the late Laurie w. Schofield. born May 1, 1958 .
He is survived by his wife, Wendy, of 34 years, his mother Verna (Tupper) of Shannex in Kentville, brothers Clayton of Centreville, Bruce (Shelly) of Centreville, sisters Bonnie (Allison) Corkum of Sackville, Jean (Jamie) McCamon of Blomindon, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his fur buddy, Tucker.
Calvin was predeceased by his father Laurie W. Schofield.
Please join us in honoring Calvin's life. Those of us that knew him will miss his sense of humour, his ability to fix anything he touched and the love of his family. Rest in peace until we meet again.
It was Calvin's final wish to be laid to rest by his father's side.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A Graveside Service will be held on July 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Baxter's Harbour Cemetery with Pastor Jeffery Irving officiating. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Nova Scotia VON.
