Obituary of Mary Madeline Hazelwood

Mary Madeline (Murphy) Hazelwood went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 28th. At age 85, formerly of Aylesford, she died peacefully at Grand View Manor, Berwick, NS. She is survived by her children Shirley (Edison Day, Aylesford), Harley (Kingston, NS) and David (Agnes, Aylesford), grandchildren, Michael (Tara, Middleton), Ronald William (Jean, Lr. Sackville), Colin (Gen, Moncton), Megan (Ricky, Auburn, NS), Nick (St. Johns, NF), and Wendy (Don, Cambridge). Her great grandchildren were a source of true joy to her. Their names are Mia, Jacob and Arwyn. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur "Pat" and Mabel, brothers George, Alfred, Arthur, Edward, and sister Daisy, husband Delma, son, Ronald and daughter, Valerie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial Street Berwick (902-538-9900). A visitation will take place on July 1, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on July 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Berwick Chapel. Interment will take place in the Berwick Cemetery following the service. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society, the Gideons, Upper Room Food Bank, Middleton Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
