Darlene Marion Reade, 55 of Cambridge, NS passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Freeman and Mildred Purchase.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 31 years, Paul Reade of Cambridge, NS; daughters Ashley (Mark) Huntley of Whitehorse, Yukon and Krista (Craig) MacDonald of Cambridge, NS and her son Michael Reade of Cambridge, NS; sisters Donna (Paul) Brown of Ontario, Phyllis (George) Vaters of Kentville, NS, Marlene Purchase of Ontario and Theresa Purchase of Ontario; brothers Raymond (Laura) Purchase of New Minas, NS, Arthur (Kristen Hatt) Purchase and Timmy Purchase; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Darlene loved to sing and garden.
In this family mom was famous for her kitchen skills, her recipes, pickling and her utmost famous biscuits. Thank you for all you have given us Mom!
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679- A Celebration of Darlene's Life will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Salvation Army in Kentville. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, Mental Health Foundation or Carry Me Fund.
