Gladys Marbell MacDonald, 82 of Windsor, NS passed away on September 8, 2016 in Dykeland Lodge. Born on June 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Andrews) Robinson. Gladys worked at NS Textiles for many years until her retirement. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughters Judy (Darroll) Blinn of Windsor, NS; Peggy (Cyril) Langille of Three Mile Plains, NS; Vicki (John) Lanigan of Ontario; Christine (John) Sweet of Windsor, NS; Sherri (Greg) Kennedy of Windsor, NS; son Reg (Michelle) MacDonald of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Jeannie, Mike, Jennifer, Todd, Shaun, Paul, Tyler, Ryan, Haley and Eric; 10 great grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws Gwen Murphy of Windsor, NS and Katherine Dorman of Halifax, NS; brother-in-law Paddy MacCumber. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Reg, brothers Bud and Sid, sisters Hazel, Ruby, Dot and Beat, grandchildren Darroll Jr., John and Natalie, son in laws John Lanigan and Darroll Blinn Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Family Service at St Croix Cementary 1pm Friday Sept 16th. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 between 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Three Mile Plains Community Hall. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Society of Canada.
