Obituary of Wayne Miner Coldwell

Wayne Miner Coldwell – 77, passed away September 25th, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of Allison and Alice (Vaughan) Coldwell. Wayne did tours of Duty in Germany and the Gaza Strip with Black Watch and later with the Service Corp. For years he was a fixture at the Brewery Market as he so loved to chat and meet people. He is survived by his daughter Linda (David) Stewart of Williamswood; sons Peter (Sharl) of Greenwich; Stephan (Heather) of Gaspereau; along with his brothers Laurence (Kathy) and Blair (Nancy) of New Minas, sisters Marilyn Ells of Coldbrook; Linda Hancock of New Minas; grandchildren Jesse and Mathew Hirtle along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brothers in law Dennis Ells and Barry Hancock. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656). A Graveside Service will be held on Monday October 3rd at 3:00 pm at the Willowbank Cemetery. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA. Wayne's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Valley Regional Hospital, Medical "A" staff for their kindness and compassion in caring for Wayne at his time of need.
