Obituary of Dennis Stephen Doyle

DOYLE, Dennis Stephen (68), of Halifax, passed away September 27th at Twin Oaks Hospital. He was the son of the Late Tony and Edna. Dennis started his career as a police officer alongside his father, then turned to his passion of carpentry, later retiring as Facilities manager for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Department of Health. He volunteered with the Cole Harbour Kiwanis Club as well as the Boys and Girls Club. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deborah (Naugler), sons Joel and Mark (Melanie), and five grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers Mike (Patricia) and Doug. Dennis was predeceased by brothers John and Christopher. He will be missed by his special four legged friends, Jock and Sam. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at the Woodlawn United Church, 54 Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth on Friday, October 7th.
