Randolph Raymond Wamboldt of Caledonia. After 88 and a half years God called on Dad to fold up his earthly tent and come home to be with the him and his predeceased loved ones. He passed away at home on September 29, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. He was the only child of Elmer and Hazel (Frail) Wamboldt. He earned his first dollar working for Nova Scotia Woodenware, better known as the Bucket Factory. Once he was old enough to have a driver's license he went to work with his father, as a truck driver. Over the years he worked in the woods and ran his own lathe mill. He went to work for Acadia Construction in 1959 and remained an employee of that firm until it ceased operation. He is survived by daughters Elaine Frail, and Kathleen (Arthur) Canning, sons, Richard, Allan, Clifton and Louis (Charlotte) 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife Anita, partner Elizabeth, Grandson AJ and son-in-law Russell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A Funeral Service will be held on October 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the St. Jerome's Church, West Caledonia. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Association, Queens County Fish and Game Association, or a charity of choice.
