Obituary of Eva May Keddy

Eva May Keddy, 102 of Kentville passed away October 3, 2016 in the Shannex Orchard Court. Born on November 16, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Illsley) Salzman. Eva was a member the Christ Anglican Church in New Ross and Mines 50 Plus Senior's Club. She is survived by sons Kenneth of Ontario; Richard of Kingston; Robert of Ontario; brother Ernest of Morristown; sister Cera Hazelwood of Wilmont; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Eva was predeceased by her parents, her husband Albert, son Phillip, daughter Agnes, 1 step grandson, 1 great grandson, 1 great granddaughter, brothers Harvey Connor, Herald Salzman and Wallace Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, New Ross Chapel, 4935 Hwy 12 New Ross (902-689-2961). A visitation will take place on October 7, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on October 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the New Ross Chapel. Family Flowers only. Speech for Eva Keddy Funeral Written by Robert Keddy (Eva's son) I am writing this short note as I could not attend today's service. My name is Robert and I am one of Eva's sons from Ontario. Today mom will especially be on my mind and many memories will flow. My heart is saddened by her death and there will be many tears for days to come. My mom lived a very long life and today you all will celebrate that. I was fortunate to have just visited with her two months ago. That visit will stay with me forever. Sorry I cannot be there today but you are all in my prayers during this difficult time. Love you Mom and rest in peace!
