Obituary of Eileen Jeanetta Schofield

We, the family of Eileen Schofield, are saddened to announce her passing at the age of 91 on November 5, 2016. Eileen's journey as a remarkable lady began when she was born in Cunard and then lovingly raised in Avonport by her parents, Hibbert and Ruby Clowry. At a young age Eileen recognized that the "leader of the band" Eldred "Edge" was the love of her life. After attending many of his dances, they soon became wed and shared a wonderful 40 years together. Eileen. Also, known as Mom, Nan, Little Nan, Aunt Leen, and Johnny was happiest when spending time with her cherished family. Besides family, Eileen's other great love was watching golf, particularly her all-time favorite, Tiger. Eileen will be recalled as a fun person with a great sense of humor, and a person that was loved by family, friends and her community. She is survived by daughters Joan (Bill) Jennings; Linda (Brian) Fraser; Susan (Darrell) Davison; sisters Muriel; Phyllis; Marguerite; brother Manford; seven grandchildren Scott Fraser; Sandra Armstrong; Doris and Bill Jr. Jennings; Amber and Brycen Davison; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her late husband Eldred and brother Randolph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A Memorial Service will be held on November 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Avonport Baptist Church with Rev. Manthorne officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Your Choice.
