Obituary of Darlene Patricia Csernyik

Darlene Patricia (Atwell) Csernyik, 60, passed away November 10, 2016 at her home in Sydney Forks, Cape Breton. Born the youngest of seven children on December 11, 1955, she was the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Messom) Atwell. Darlene was a loving, fun and caring person. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Darlene was excited to be a great grandmother. She loved to laugh and dance. Her dog Buddy and two cats Honey and Miss. Kitty played a big part in her life as well. Darlene was very spirited, hard-working and never tired. She never lost faith and had a true love for her God. She is survived by her husband Michael; children Letitia "Letty" Keirstead; Michael (Colleen Dyer) Csernyik; Andrea Csernyik; Angela Csernyik; Cynthia Csernyik; grandchildren Patricia Davidson; Dylan Davidson; sisters Erma Balcom; Susan Atwell; brothers Larry Atwell and Gordon Atwell. Darlene was predeceased by brothers Leonard Atwell and Dale Atwell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656). A Funeral Service will be held on November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Wolfville Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
