Obituary of Cathy Jane Demone

Please share a memory of Cathy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Cathy Jane DeMone passed away on the morning of November 28th. It is hard to lose her, but the joy and inspiration she brought to the world for 56 years will live on in those she met. She was a loving wife to Mike Veinot and as a mother she was unmatched. Her unconditional love and unwavering support for her children Greg and Alicia, and stepchildren Matt and Kyla never faltered, and never will. She thoroughly enjoyed her times spent with her grandchildren, and will be missed dearly. She will be lovingly missed by her brother Gary and sister Bev, and their families. All those who knew Cathy will remember her for her laughter, her wit, her courage, and determination to live life to the fullest. Her friends meant the world to her, and they were always by her side for her many adventures. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at all departments at Valley Regional Hospital, and the Oncology unit at NSCC for the care given to Cathy throughout her long battle with cancer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 pm on Friday, December 2 in Port Williams Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care unit at Valley Regional or CAPS Annapolis Valley, will be gratefully appreciated.
