Obituary of Phyllis Loraine Chambers

Phyllis Loraine Chambers, 75 of Hants Border passed away peacefully on February 8, 2017 in the Hants Community Hospital. Phyllis was a simple, quiet woman who devoted a lot of her time to her family. She worked as a mail delivery contractor for 20 years. She had many interests throughout the years playing keyboard, guitar, painting pictures, drawing, whiting children stories and she loved to bake. Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved son Jamie and husband Charles. She is survived by daughters Tina (Mark); Dana (Brian); Lisa (Stephen); sons Charles Jr.; Darren; chosen daughter Chrissie (Paul); son in law Troy Walker; close friends Murray and Robin. She adored her grandkids of 14 and great grandkids of 15. She will be missed, especially by her two cats Amy and Rascal. She loved those cats so much, they were more like people than animals. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). By Phyllis's request ther will be no service and a private family burial will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia VON or Kings County SPCA.
