I remember going there with my father and what I remember most was the smell of her home made bread. It was sitting on the oven door. Sorry to the family.
I was sorry to hear of Aunt Della's passing. It brought to mind childhood visits to her home with my mother and grandmother (her sister). I spent a few minutes today fondly remembering how welcome we always felt in her kitchen. She always seemed glad to see us and made sure everyone was comfortable, even when that 'everyone' included small kids who just couldn't sit still. She also took wonderful care of her mother in her mother's final years. She was a wonderful role model. Our condolences to everyone feeling her loss.
Well to doris and family sorry for your loss ... I didn't know her even tho she was my great grandmother and my kids great great grandmother but it's sad to hear ... Sorry to u and ur family
