Obituary of Kathleen Jean Bent

Kathleen Jean Bent, 78 of Waterville. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister in the Grand View Manor in Berwick on April 10, 2017. Surrounded by her family she peacefully left ours arms to be in the arms of her saviour. Her family always came first, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love for her children was evident in every aspect of her life and she was Grammy Kay many. She was not ashamed to let people know her love for her lord and saviour. She was a member of the Weston Christian Fellowship Church whenever the church doors were open you would find mom helping wherever she could. In her early years, mom worked at the Graves plant; and in her later years she worked at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre. She is survived by husband of 62 years Howard; daughter Donna (Earl) Lee of Windermere; son Raymond (Christine) of Nicholsville; grandchildren Nicole, Matthew, Gregory, Trevor, Nathan, Katelynn and Brayden; great grandchildren Makayla, Cassidy, Ryan, Leanne, Rayna and Lena. Kay was predeceased by her parents Norman and Muriel (Reese) Burns; sisters Geraldine, Pauline, Laura, Loretta; brothers Robert, Brian and Derrick in infancy. A visitation will take place on April 12, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Berwick Serenity Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on April 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Weston Christian Fellowship Church. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or the Grand View Manor.
