Derric Wayne Arnold, 66 of Upper Dyke passed away peacefully June 2, 2017. Born in Wolfville to Robert and June Arnold on September 8, 1950.
He was employed with Nova Scotia Power for over 30 years. After retiring in 2007, he worked with several contractors in the area. Derric enjoyed making toys and furniture for his family and friends and taking trips to Timmy's for coffee.
Derric is survived by his wife Flora; son Wayne (Tammy Vaughan) of Truro; daughter Crystal of Kentville; sister Sharon (Eric Davidson) of Greenwich; grandchildren Elizabeth Arnold, Maddy Arnold, Ben Tanton; Nate Tanton and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother Robert Junior (Bobby).
A visitation will take place on June 7, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be no public service by request. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wolfville Serenity Funeral Chapels, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656).
