Eric Russell Freeman, 73 of Berwick passed away on June 7, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Aylesford, he was the son of the late Ira and Bessie (Mapplebeck) Freeman.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Vidito) Freeman of 51 years; daughters Angela Freeman of Berwick; Ladonna (Sean) Hardy of Wolfville; sons Jason (Denise) Freeman of Waterville; Rick (Wendy) Freeman of Berwick; brothers Alvin (Ruth) Freeman of Aylesford; Harvey (Theresa) Freeman of Aylesford; Vernon Freeman of St. Catherines, ON; sisters Ilene Lanthier of Peterborough, ON; Helen Teatro of Peterborough, ON; Darlene (Henry) Graves of Aylesford; grandchildren Misty-Dawn, Natasha, Nicholas, Daemon, Hailey, Karzin, July, Ira and Mason; great-grandchildren Evelyn and Laurel; several nieces and nephews.
Eric was predeceased by his grandson Jackzin.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on June 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Aylesford Fire Hall. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or the MOTP (Multi-Organ Transplant Program of Atlantic Canada). Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
