Walker, Mildred Pauline (Alders) 93, of Wolfville (New Ross) passed away peacefully Saturday July 29th, 2017 at the Wolfville Elms with caring family by her side. Born in Aldersville, Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Brenton and Jennie Alders. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, never missing the opportunity to show her support at family gatherings. She was a member of the St Patricks' Roman Catholic Church, New Ross. Mildred is survived by her sons; Lawrence, New Minas, Gerald (Margaret) Winnipeg, Clayton (Cathy) Chester Basin and daughter Mary (Keith Hiltz) Greenwich, 3 grandchildren; Warren (Wife-SamVo) Vietnam, Pamela (Husband-Gordon) Currie Winnipeg and Andrea (Husband-Terry) Brown Kentville, 6 great grandchildren; Katrina, Danny, Vietnam Dylan and Travis, Winnipeg, Maria Ryan Kentville, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis, Sisters: Ada, Ethel, Gladys, Eva, Madeline, Amy, Lena, Brothers; Edward and her infant twin brother Gerald. A visitation will take place on Wednesday August 2nd from 6-8 pm at the New Ross Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 3rd at 2:00 pm in St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, New Ross. Burial in the Roman Catholic Cemetary, Mill Road. Reception at the New Ross Legion. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, New Ross or the charilty of ones choice.
