Obituary of Donna Marie Kelly

Donna Marie Kelly (Butler), 55 of Aylesford passed away at home, surrounded by the support of her family and friends on September 5, 2017. Raised in Kingsport, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Myrna Butler. Donna was very proud of her two sons and her grandchildren. She enjoyed having barbecues while spending time with close family and friends. Donna also enjoyed the sunshine, gardening and being with her loving dog, Lucy and her special kitty, Pebbles. She found great joy in going for walks with Lucy and her husband, and also the leisurely drives they took together. She is survived by her husband, Murray Chase of Aylesford; sons Gregory (Stevie) Kelly of Sheffield Mills; Rodney (Amanda) Kelly of Berwick and their father Victor (Rose) Kelly of Shelburne; step-son Stephen (Angel) Banks of Kingston; brothers Basil (Betty) Butler of Kingsport; Barry (Wilma) Butler of Fredericton, NB; Bruce (Darlene) Butler of Yarmouth; Terry (Lisa) Butler of Kentville; Jeffrey (Carla) Butler of Greenwich; sisters Dorothy of Yarmouth; Shirley (Mawson) Baltzer of Woodville; Linda Bulter of Canning; grandchildren Brayden Simpson; Jayden, Emma and Eli Kelly; and Hailie, Savannah and Kaya Banks. Also survived by her dear friends Lisa & David Dorey and Bronson & Barb Haggerty. Donna was predeceased by brother Robert and sisters Mary and Elizabeth. Donna will be greatly missed by many, and will always be loved to the moon and back. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
