Eugene Philip Caldwell, 74 of Windsor passed away peacefully on September 9, 2017. Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late Frank and Beatrice Caldwell. Eugene spent many years working with the Minas Basin Pulp and Power. He also enjoyed camping in PEI and Blomindon Provincial Park. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Irene of Lockhartville; sons Jeff Caldwell of Lockhartville; Frank (Peggy) Caldwell of Hopewell, Pictou County; Mike (Tammy) Caldwell of Lockhartville; sisters Gail (Chris) Pattihis of Niagara Falls; Carlotta Leighton of Ottawa; Wanda (Brian) Lavers of Windsor; Nancy (David) Riley of Windsor; grandchildren Alex, Sabrina, Olivia and William. Eugene was predeceased by his sister Dianne Caldwell; brother Eddie Caldwell and brother-in-law Bill Leighton. A Graveside Service will be held on September 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, QEII Hospital or a Charity of One's Choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656).
